Five Week Meditation Course at Twine Yoga Studio

Sundays 12th February - 12th March, 3-4pm

This course is designed for anyone (beginner to experienced) who would like to develop a meditation practice or evolve and feel more connected to it, and learn about the yogic view of the mind. 

Meditation is a yogis path to samadhi.

Sounds amazing right? So how do we do that? 

Over 5 weeks we’ll explore different types of meditation techniques so that you find one that suits you best. When you meditate, you’re not attempting to stop the thoughts or push them to the side. Instead, you’re applying techniques that work best for you to calm the mind so you’re able to move into a state beyond the ‘spinnings’ of the mind and enter into a state of bliss

In this course you’ll learn about: 

  • The vedantic view of the mind 

  • Two different styles of meditation 

  • Pranayama and asana to prepare you for meditation and support your practice

  • The challenges we face in meditation and how to overcome them 

  • How meditation supports you on your yogic path

  • An overviews of Patanjalis 8 limbs of yoga

Why meditate? 

Meditation is a practice that introduces you to the deeper parts of yourself. The parts of you that are silent and still. Calm and at ease. Many of us have forgotten that there is a well of deep rest within. A well of nourishment, wholeness, and connection to the ‘divine’, ‘source’ spirit or intelligence. Meditation helps you to remember and tap into that well of nourishment consistently. This inner well leads you to deeper states of peace and inner fulfilment.

  • Four one hour sessions. Sundays 3pm - 4pm at Twine Yoga Studio

  • Two 30 minute meditation recordings

  • One pre-recorded relaxation technique 

  • Meditation journal to support your practice

  • Asana and pranayama recording to prepare you for meditation

When: Sunday February 12th, 19th, 26th, 5th March, 12th March, 3pm - 4pm.

There are no refunds or credits for cancellation within 7 days of event. If you cannot make all four sessions, you will be sent meditation recordings to support your practice.
